The ultimate Ibiza
Fashion shopping guide 2020

From boho/hippie to high fashion and custom café racers

The ultimate Ibiza fashion shopping guide will help you find out where to shop RAW Looks in Ibiza. For all motorcycle enthusiasts, this article will reveal two places where to discover custom build café racers. In addition, it contains recommendations on where to take a break during your shopping sprees.

If you are looking for anything boho or hippie: Ibiza is probably the place to be. Besides, there are shops offering very unique designer pieces that fall into other categories. Lots of exciting boutiques and little stores offer a unique shopping experience. Excited? Good! Read on to get our recommendations through this ultimate Ibiza fashion shopping guide.

1) Monday afternoon Ibiza fashion shopping route

Take a ride inland and visit Code Ibiza. They have some unique and very special clothing. Mainly for women, but also for men. Handmade jewelry, selected and rare home decoration, rock’n’roll handbags, unique boots of all kinds, clothes made of fine fabrics. Make sure you are not in a hurry when visiting. This store is well worth a longer stop. The men’s section offers a well-curated selection of cool fashion pieces. In addition, there is a motorbike workshop with some bikes you gotta see.

From Code Ibiza to Deus Ex Machina

The owner of Code Ibiza has a love for bikes and unique clothing. We discovered pieces from brands like A.S.98, American Vintage and Deus EX Machina in the men’s section. That men’s section with the bike workshop. Their passion for motorbikes is the reason why the owners opened another store further down the road in May 2019: The official DEUS Ex Machina Store of Ibiza. Originally founded and established in Australia, the brand spreads cool energy at amazing places all around the globe.

The drive from Code Ibiza takes you about 5 to 10 minutes to get to Deus Ex Machina. Custom-made bikes are welcome in Ibiza since there is a big biker community here on „la Ruta del Rock & Roll“, how locals call the street to San José.

You can have snacks and drinks at DEUS all day long. Don’t forget to also check out their website for ongoing live events. It is a very cool place to hang out. A “down-to-earth” vibe awaits which is an alternation from all the huge night clubs and fancy beach clubs in Ibiza.

2) Tuesday Ibiza fashion shopping in Eivissa (Ibiza Town)

Ibiza town is well worth a visit for views, strolls and of course a little shopping trip. Our recommendation is to go there either in the morning or right before having dinner. Stroll through the tiny alleys, have a coffee, hang out at cool shops and go for some tapas thereafter.

Our favorite shops in Ibiza town are:

  • EGB
  • reVOLVER and reVOLVER sunglasses
  • Numero 00

All of these stores are very close together, short walking distances away from each other.

EGB is well-known on the island for the inhouse brand “God has no Name” and a broad selection of monochrome clothing. This kind of fashion is a popular style widely worn among the techno community, especially by Techno DJ Marco Carola and his fanbase.

We discovered the brand back in 2016 during a photoshoot with Dj Shawnecy in Ibiza. Photos were taken by rawlooks.com founder and photographer Tim Köck:

reVolver and reVolver sunglasses offers a fine selection of international high fashion designer brands: clothes, shoes, fragrances and the most extraordinary sunglasses. Make sure you check them out. One of our favorite sunglasses brands we discovered here is VAVA Eyewear.

Numero 00 offers urban and streetwear designer clothing, often in a unisex concept. Visit the store that also sells a cool range of accessories from other designers.

A few recommendations for food and drinks in Ibiza Town and the Marina – get a break from your Ibiza Fashion shopping spree:

If shopping gets you exhausted, have a break for some good coffee and healthy stuff at Passion. This relaxing café is situated in the Marina Ibiza. It was rated by the readers of the White Ibiza Magazine best Café and Healthy eating Destination ever since 2013.

For great Tapas and a nice chat with the owners, visit Emporio. It is situated just vis a vis to reVOLVER clothing and opens at 4 pm.

Another great place for Tapas and notorious for its busy evening after work vibes is Can Terra.

Up the hill, in D’Alt Villa (Ibiza Old Town) S’Escalinata Eivissa is a very nice spot, where you can hang out on sand sacks on the stairs. Enjoy a plate of tapas and have beers while enjoying the view over Ibiza town.

If you want to eat proper meat (Spanish: Ternera) check out “Los Pasajeros” in the Marina Botafoch (a different part of the Marina, don’t get confused by the addition “Botafoch”).

3) Wednesday Punta Arabi Hippie Market

The oldest hippie market of Ibiza, which celebrated 45 years of its existence in 2018, is Punta Arabí in Es Caná. It is only open on Wednesdays from 10:00 until 19:00 from April to October. You can find anything from hippie shoes to accessories, handcrafts, fashion creations, jewelry, textile products, natural cosmetics, antiques, musical instruments and traditional objects from all over the world.

4) Thursdays or Ibiza fashion shopping on hot summer days

On a hot summer day on the island, there are only two places you wanna be: either at a beach (club) or at home by the pool. If you are looking for more action than just cooling down at home, combine a day at the beach, a decent lunch and some easy-going shopping all in one location. A lot of beach clubs in Ibiza feature small boutiques that sell well-selected clothing, bathing suits, and jewelry. One of our favorites: Elements Beach Club at Cala Benirrás. Why wander around when you can have it all in one place!?

5) Friday Ibiza fashion shopping in Santa Gertrudis

Santa Gertrudis is a beautiful village, situated pretty much in the center of the island. Go there, if you want to have a relaxed stroll with some authentic ibicencan vibes. A two-minute drive away from the center of the village, there is a big warehouse kind of store called Sluiz. There you can find crazy and unique interior objects as well as a broad selection of clothing for men and women, including a coffee shop where you can take a break after missioning through this huge place.

Once done at Sluiz, find your way to Santa Gertrudis. It’s just a jump-off. The village has a lot of nice cafés and restaurants with shops in between. Make sure you visit Es Cucons La Tienda for great boho interior pieces, clothing and accessories mainly for women but also some very cool things to wear for men.

For breakfast, we recommend Musset Café, lunch and dinner you must have at Macao Café.

6) Saturdays Ibiza fashion shopping at the market

When on the island you must not miss the world’s famous hippie market Las Dalias in San Carlos. The market is open only on Saturdays from April to October from 10 am till 8 pm. From November to March from 10 am to 6 pm. The market features 200 stalls with everything nice from shoes to handbags, hammocks, typical Ibiza hippie clothing, palm reading, and massages. DJs are playing from the afternoon till closing time and there are two restaurants and an outside bar if you have enough from the hectic market. Just take a break, have a caña (beer), or two, or three…

Tipp: Go there in time since this market is highly recommended you want to make sure to avoid big tourist crowds.

7) Sunday stroll in San Juan

In case you are keen to visit another market, there is one more that we highly recommend. The market in San Juan each Sunday. This market is one of the newest markets on the island and besides similar kinds of handicrafts, clothing, and accessories offered as on other markets, this one is more kind of a farmers market. In addition to all the cool stuff seen on other markets, it offers lots of local agricultural products such as fruit, wine, bakery goods, quiches, and much more.

Recommended Restaurants in San Juan are the Giri Cafe, Los Otros (don’t miss out on the carrot cake!) and  Shamarkanda (simply everything is amazing here).

End of Story

That’s about it. We hope you like our recommendations and that you will have a chance to check out the places mentioned during your next visit. In case you think we forgot to mention a place, please get in touch and let us know.

Code Ibiza, the Deus Ex Machina store, EGB and reVolver are permanently listed on RAW Looks in our store section. Check out the listings for more information, more impressions and external links.
