About A-Cold-Wall*
Samuel Ross is the founder and designer of A-Cold-Wall*, one of a kind London based streetwear label with an avant-garde twist. The collection’s characteristics are youth culture and the zeitgeist of Britain’s working-class reflected in contemporary fashion.
Ross founded ACW* in 2015 after working as an intern for the designer Virgil Abloh beforehand (who was the designer for Off-White at that time) which shaped his work ethic fundamentally. The collections of A-Cold-Wall* result in unconventional tailoring and streamlined design, informed by Ross’s studies in graphic design and illustration. Durable industrial textiles crafted in a sleek neutral palette.
A-Cold-Wall* was founded with the intent to establish “an art project based on exploring the cultural melting pot of the UK” which Ross described in an interview with British Vogue. In 2018 Samuel Ross won the “Emerging Talent Menswear prize” at the Fashion Awards.
