DEVOA Fall/Winter 2026 rebuilds tailoring, technical outerwear and wide trousers around the architecture of the moving body.

DEVOA Fall/Winter 2026 Collection

DEVOA’s 2026–27 Fall/Winter collection continues the label’s founding concept, “Destruction and Construction.” Authored by Marina Đurđević and Daisuke Nishida, the phrase is an enduring statement of the brand’s method rather than a title assigned to this particular season. DEVOA rarely gives individual collections conceptual names; its evolution takes place through ongoing textile research and the iterative reconstruction of patterns around the human body.

That method creates the quiet tension running through this lookbook. Nothing here is theatrical for its own sake. Instead, familiar menswear forms—tailored jackets, flight jackets, hooded layers, generous trousers and long coats—are taken apart at the level of proportion and rebuilt around the moving body.

The result is a wardrobe that feels precise without becoming rigid. Shoulders are controlled, torsos remain compact, and volume travels downward into trousers that curve, fold and pool around substantial footwear. Cropped outerwear sharpens that relationship: short bombers and blousons sit above expansive legs, making the body appear grounded and mobile at once.

This is DEVOA in its most persuasive mode. The collection does not demand attention with a loud graphic or a single exaggerated silhouette. It rewards a slower look at balance, surface and the space created between one layer and the next.

An Architecture Made for the Body

DEVOA describes its practice as an exploration of “an architecture of materials and patterns,” grounded in a hypothesis about the human form. That idea is visible throughout the Fall/Winter 2026 collection. Jackets are shaped to frame the torso rather than simply hang from it. Sleeves curve with a natural softness. High collars, knitted hoods and scarf-like layers draw the eye around the neck and shoulders, changing the outline without restricting it.

The tailoring is especially revealing. Double-breasted and softly structured jackets retain the language of classic menswear, yet their rounded fronts, lowered stance and relaxed pairing with cropped or wide trousers remove any corporate severity. Elsewhere, workwear pockets and MA-1 references introduce utility, but DEVOA absorbs them into the same measured system of proportion. Function becomes part of the silhouette.

The palette stays close to black, ink, charcoal and weathered olive. Against the brown studio backdrop, subtle checks, slubbed surfaces and tonal differences become more legible. Texture takes the place of decoration. A dark jacket can appear almost flat from a distance, then reveal a broken weave, faint stripe or soft sheen at closer range.

Volume Without Excess

The wide trousers are the collection’s central rhythm. Some fall in an uninterrupted column; others taper at the ankle or expand through articulated cargo shapes. Their volume is never isolated. It is calibrated against short jackets, elongated coats, fitted inner layers and heavy, rounded shoes. Even the largest silhouettes feel considered because the eye can trace a clear line from shoulder to hem.

Layering adds another kind of movement. Shirts extend beneath knitwear, hoods sit inside tailored outerwear, and compact jackets overlap longer underlayers. These shifts create depth in an almost monochrome wardrobe while keeping every look practical. Bags are equally integrated: soft, oversized forms sit close to the body and echo the curves of sleeves and trousers rather than reading as separate accessories.

Destruction and Construction as a Continuing Method

DEVOA’s founding motto suggests rupture, yet this collection’s lasting impression is one of equilibrium. “Destruction” appears in the loosening of inherited dress codes: tailoring loses its stiffness, military references lose their uniformity, and technical outerwear is separated from purely athletic styling. “Construction” arrives through the exact relationships that replace them—short against long, dense against soft, protected upper bodies against trousers with room to move. This is not a one-season narrative, but a continuing design process.

DEVOA’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection is avant-garde fashion expressed through discipline. It proposes that experimentation does not need to announce itself loudly. A sleeve angle, the placement of a zip, the curve of a trouser leg or the height of a hood can be enough to alter how clothing organizes the body.

Viewed as a complete series, the 23 looks build a coherent system rather than a sequence of disconnected statements. The clothes are dark but not anonymous, protective but not defensive, and technical without losing warmth. That restraint is precisely what gives the collection its force.
