Boris Bidjan Saberi is a German-Persian Avant-Garde Streetwear designer, based in Barcelona. Born in Munich on September 11, 1978 to a German mother and a Persian father. “These biographical factors play a fundamental role in Boris’s formation: they combine dual systems such as West/Middle East traditions and form/formless garments with the designer’s passion for numerology”. Both parents worked in the fashion industry, maintaining a fashion label as a family business. As a result, Saberi was introduced to the world of fashion at a very early stage of his life which shaped his career path: studying fashion design in Barcelona, graduating in 2006. While Boris Bidjan Saberi had started his first leather accessory line while still in university, his eponymous label Boris Bidjan Saberi was launched after his graduation in 2007.

D.Hygen
D.HYGEN (formerly also known under the name Saddam Teissy) was established in Osaka in 2015 and started its brand in the 2016-17 AW Collection by two male designers (Information not made public). In addition to participating in exhibitions in Japan, the 2019 SS of D.Hygen also participated in the Paris men’s Collection. The leather products and tailored jackets are positioned as signature items of the brand, and the decadent and dignified work using the original developed material is highly evaluated in Japan and overseas. Based on the brand concept of “STRAINISM”, this item proposes addictive real clothes with a unique aesthetic sense that disassembles and reconstructs basic styles and sometimes turns negative images into beauty, with the theme of a product that gives a sense of tension and uplifting to the wearer as well as the creator himself. The development of new leather, the detailed and thorough tailoring technique by skilled craftsmen, and the hard and cold look of the original metal fittings made of iron also emphasize tensionism. D.Hygen – the clue is hidden in the proverb “HAI_-GEN” – of a human being controlled by string but turns the situation to his advantage by taking control of invisible strings of life.
