Subjective Reality Garments


A.F. ARTEFACT is a fashion label by designer Yoshiki Takatsuka. Finely designed contemporary garments of a subjective reality. Fabric selection focuses on relaxed and comfortable fits. The forms compliment the wearer, bringing out their individuality and strive to create a harmony of long and slim.

After graduating from the Osaka Bunka fashion college, designer Yoshiki Takatsuka experienced design, pattern, and sewing at an apparel manufacturer, and started A.F HOMME, a men’s brand, in 2009. From the 2016 autumn/winter season, the brand name was changed to A.F. ARTEFACT, and the place of the presentation was moved to Paris in parallel with Japan, and the Unisex line was developed and started as a new brand. From the 2019 SS collection, along with A.F. ARTEFACT, the VITAL capsule collection “Vital” has been developed, expanding the range of expression and activities. Based on the concept of “Real close by design and subjective reality”, the design combines a strong masculine image with a feminine soft feel. The use of materials with a relaxed feel brings out the individuality of the wearer and pursues a lean and long balance. The monotone style based on black that has continued since the brand was established has a unique style that is distinct from other brands.
