MONOLYT

Founded in Munich in 2026 by Sophie Reuter, MONOLYT is an independent avant-garde fashion store shaped by a personal fascination with clothing and design beyond the conventions of the mainstream fashion system.

Munich has long been associated with fashion, design, architecture and luxury, yet its retail landscape has traditionally leaned towards a more established understanding of these disciplines. MONOLYT was created from the belief that the city also needs space for alternative perspectives: a place dedicated to designers whose work approaches fashion through experimentation, craftsmanship and a distinct creative identity.

The store brings together a carefully curated selection of international designers, spanning established names in contemporary avant-garde fashion, independent labels and highly specialised ateliers. Its evolving selection follows a coherent aesthetic, with particular attention to material, construction, silhouette and individual design language.

Its selection encompasses avant-garde clothing, footwear, jewellery and accessories from designers including Rick Owens DRKSHDW, Isaac Sellam, DEVOA, Parts of Four, D. Hygen, LEB Leon Emanuel Blanck, Botta-S, Culture of Brave, GOTI and T HENRI, alongside a continually developing roster of independent designers.

With MONOLYT, Munich gains a dedicated destination for international avant-garde fashion and a new platform for designers operating outside the conventional luxury landscape.
