Leon Emanuel Blanck SS16 COORDINATE
The Leon Emanuel Blanck Spring/Summer 2016 Collection COORDINATE is the sixth collection, ignoring the traditional canons of pattern making, constructed with Leon’s 3D imagination and Anfractuous Distortion, the garments are shaped around the mechanics of the moving body with modern and minimalistic cuts.
While paying homage to the richness of leather, SS16 Coordinate continued Leon’s desire to experiment with technical fabrics such as non-tearable PU military fabrics & parachute materials. This growing obsession to work with experimental materials has led to his recent endeavors with the Sculptures, Fracture Series, and the Distortion Universal Seat.
