In Nick Fouquet’s own words: “It’s a passion that became an obsession that became the business.” Growing up with five artistic sisters, Fouquet spent much of the early part of his life in admiration of what those around him manifested. It wasn’t until later on, near the back side of his twenties that Fouquet’s own creative quest first revealed itself, his fires stoked by what seemed an almost lost art and dormant accessory, the hat. From the get-go designing, Fouquet conjured the entire universe of the subject who would eventually rock his lids; what car they drive, what music they listen to, what food they crave, what lovers they chase, and gradually, a hat would emerge, hand crafted to the character’s flow and raison d’etre.

Horisaki
Everything tells a story. If we just stop for a moment and allow ourselves to listen. Everything is shaped by the past, lives in the present, awaiting to be refined by what is to come. Every moment adds. Each unique experience leaves a mark.
The first chapter of Horisaki begun with the tradition and development of hat craftsmanship. The very starting point is every milliner and hatters combined history of trial and error, insights and learnings, failure and success. Horisaki pieces are the summary and interpretation of that heritage; they express the brand’s journey.
Horisaki works at their own pace. Affected by the ever-changing environment, influenced by the silent scenery surrounding them and inspired by the no-nonsense legacy of the Swedish countryside. Their craft takes time. Their pieces are made to be worn and they will last for a lifetime. Sprung from Horisaki’s heritage, shaped by their hands, defined by the brand’s journey. Meant to continue develop at their own pace.
Horisaki creations tell their story. Allow yourselves to listen.
