Sobre Ten C
Ten C produces high-quality clothing – mainly jackets like iconic Parkas, Anoraks, and Coats – by applying true values of craftsmanship. The garments are conceived to last for a lifetime and to live and age with the wearer. The resulting patina and transformation through wearing it make each piece a unique item, exclusively for and by its wearer. The label’s influence comes from Japanese craftsmanship and utilizes specially engineered Japanese textiles, mainly Original Japanese Jersey (OJJ). It is an exclusive Ten C used and manufactured jersey fabric with unique properties. Manufacturing takes place exclusively in Japan and each piece is cut, sewn, and dyed by Ten C in Italy.
Alessandro Pungetti and Paul Harvey are the founders of Ten C after co-designing for C.P. Company together. In addition, the label gets a contribution from Enzo Fusco – fashion designer, innovator, and entrepreneur. Pungetti’s depth of experience pairs well with Harvey’s design history at Stone Island. Both skill sets combine very well in the output of each product.
Every Ten C piece features modular capabilities. Layering coats, for example with liners and hoods also produced by the company, is the key to the concept. The material of the Parkas lives on a certain stiffness which becomes softer during use and adapts to the body. Traces of use – similar to jeans, the jacket gives your own character defined through a used-look.
