John Hardy jewelry is unique, outstanding and handmade from Bali. The brand itself has established in 1975 in a small village. A small village close to the famous center of spirituality and art well-known as “Ubud”.
Over the years the Balinese artisans helped the company grow and improve their skills in handmade jewelry design. Nowadays they are still the foundation of the company. When visiting the workshop, you will find three generations of people working for John Hardy.
The staff has grown up to 750 people over the years. Hence, almost the whole village is working for John Hardy under very good conditions.
Every single piece of John Hardy jewelry is handmade in Bali. The company produces in a sustainable way. Sustainable for humans, sustain for nature and for the environment. In addition, they brought up a bamboo collection. The special thing about that collection is that for every John Hardy jewelry piece sold they plant new bamboo trees in Bali.
Community, artisanship, and sustainability are the core values of the company’s philosophy and are shown whenever you get in touch with this very special brand.
